WorldPharma 2010, Copenhagen
The 16th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, WorldPharma 2010, was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, and included 26 plenary lectures and 18 two-three day focused conferences, as well as 37 workshops and sponsored symposia and 2000 posters. EMTRAIN was to present its programme in Workshop 10 (Innovative Medicines Initiative: A new approach to education & training in medicines research in Europe) on Monday 19 July, 2010, 12:45-14:15 in Meeting Room 18/19.This workshop is under the auspices of the Austrian Pharmacological Society (APHAR) and chaired by Michael Wolzt from EMTRAIN and Fatiha Sadallah from the IMI. The IMI education and training programmes EMTRAIN, SafeSciMET, PharmaTrain, and Eu2P have presented their projects.
In addition, there was a presentation titled "EU Innovative Medicines Initiative: Better and safer drugs faster for the public" on Wednesday 21 July, 2010, 12:45-14:15 in Auditorium 11 by the executive director of the IMI JU Prof. Michel Goldman.
