11.12.2014 - The upcoming EMTRAIN PhD Workshop will be held in Beerse, Belgium on 26-29 April 2015. Junior researchers with Public-Private Partnership project experience can apply now.

The EMTRAIN PhD Workshop Committee are inviting applications from PhD students to attend the 2015 EMTRAIN PhD Workshop. The 2015 Workshop's theme will be Translational Medicine. It will be held at the Janssen compound in Beerse outside Antwerp in Belgium from Sunday, 26 April until Wednesday, 29 April 2015.

We accept applications from PhD students enrolled in a Public‐Private Partnership (PPP) programme and young postdocs with experience from a PPP. We also invite senior scientists to nominate PhD students or young post‐doctoral researchers they think would benefit from attending the PhD workshop.

Students attending the EMTRAIN PhD Workshops will be invited to a network of young scientists who in the future will be able to better build the bridges between industry and academia. The previous EMTRAIN PhD Workshops have been much appreciated by all participants, students and senior faculty. The 2015 PhD Workshop will again offer an exciting, highly interactive programme. We would be very grateful if you could spread the information about the workshop within your organisations, primarily to PhD supervisors and to students.
