03.11.2015 - EMBL Courses and Conferences have accepted a proposal by LifeTrain to host a Lifelong Learning conference in Heidelberg, Germany, on 5-7 July 2016.
The new EMBL conference will be titled ‘Lifelong Learning in the Biomedical Sciences’ and will be the first international conference on career-long continuing professional development in the biomedical sciences for both the academic and industry sectors. The conference will disseminate pioneering practices and exchange ideas on the changing landscape of continuing professional development in the biomedical sciences.
The event, open to all, is conceived to attract employers, course providers, professional/scientific bodies and policy makers. The main two-day conference will be followed by a day of optional workshops. More information on the agenda and speakers will follow shortly.
The foundations for this event were built by the LifeTrain initiative in a series of Workshops over the past four years.
